Are you making the most out of MySudo by using handles?
Handles are nicknames you use online, instead of your own name. You’d know them from Twitter and Instagram.
In MySudo, handles give you access to all the end-to-end encrypted communications functions – voice and video calls, texts and emails – without needing a phone number. This makes them a pretty handy feature of the all-in-one privacy app.
All communications you make with your Sudo handles are free and unlimited. That means, there will never be a charge for using your Sudo handles.
So, if you’re a MySudo subscriber or still just enjoying our free starter plan, Sudo Free, and you haven’t yet created your handles, here’s what to do:
- Add a handle by tapping Settings, then adding a handle to a Sudo that you want to share with friends (or family, or work colleagues … you get the idea).
- Tap Save.
- Invite your friends to join you on MySudo. You might use our new Invite a friend [NB1] feature for that.
- Ask your friend to set up a handle – even if they don’t want to yet subscribe to a MySudo monthly plan.
- Start communicating with your friend with end-to-end encrypted voice and video calls, texts and emails. Remember, communications via handles are free and unlimited. You don’t need a phone number. Just share your easy-to-recall unique handle to get started.
MySudo monthly plans all come with handles, including our free starter plan, Sudo Free.
